It is not too early to ring us for an appointment to prepare your 2010 Individual Tax Return.
To streamline the process make sure you have all necessary documents when you come in for your appointment.
These documents may include:
PAYG Payment summaries
Centrelink statements
Other income statements
Itemised details of interest earned
Dividend statements
Distribution statements (from trusts or managed funds)
Rental Income statements and details of related expenses
Receipts or diaries for deductions
Medical expenses receipts (if over the $1500 threshhold)
Private Health cover statements
Superannution statements if you have claimed a deduction for personal superannuation contributions.
Historical documents relating to Capital Gains Tax calculations eg, settlement statements for purchase & sale of real estate.
If you have lost or not received documents we can advise on alternative records or assist in obtaining copies.
When you make an appointment with us, please tell us if there are any items you are unsure of, or unique circumstances and we will advise what additional records you should bring in with you.
